Description:

2c carmine die 1 postal entire (#U429) upgraded with two singles of 17c black (#623) tied by undated Spokane Wash. roller cancel, to Boise Idaho, purple "First Class" handstamp.

Since this cover is undated it could be either a 2c per ounce rate if before July 6, 1932 or 3c per ounce if after that date. Since a 2c postal entire is used it is more likely to have been mailed prior to July 6, 1932, in which case it would be 18x rate (36c total postage) weighing up to 18 ounces. There is a large amount of wrinkling in the cover with the outline of some heavy object that had been enclosed on the left side. Curiously the rear flap is unsealed with full gum present.
